Building trust has always been difficult, but essential, to having a high-performance organization. While that remains true it has never been more important than right now in a rapidly changing and largely distributed workplace. This one-day course will help you to assess the levels of trust within your team or organization and provide strategies to improve. 

This session is aimed at : Team leaders, senior managers and directors interested creating a high performing team.

  • The importance of an engaging team purpose and ‘speak up’ or candid culture in cultivating trust
  • How role modeling and vital change behaviours can make or break trust

  • The authenticity POWER model ® and the importance of how leaders show up
  • The different levels of empathy and how to cultivate empathic concern
  • The BBC method of communication to avoid trust issues on logic and implementation
  • The research-based requirements for high performing teams and winning team dynamics
  • The various elements of psychological safety
  • How to practically enhance psychological safety
  • How psychological safety can impact creativity and innovation

Faculty

Talita Ferreira

Talita Ferreira is a thought leader and change-maker, who is passionate about living in true authenticity, purpose-driven collaboration and harnessing diversity of thought. As a young child, she experienced two traumatic events, which influenced her life when her father and brother died in unrelated incidences. These events triggered Talita’s journey of discovery, firstly to understand what motivated her as an individual and later in corporate life, as an inspirational leader, where she found it extremely important to stay true to her inner authentic self. Talita is an entrepreneur, business owner, non-executive director and experienced C-Suite executive who has chosen to step out of full-time corporate life.

She has an excellent track record for delivering inspirational leadership to drive business through the human capital and back office of an organisation, for introducing strategic change, developing talent and organisational values and establishing proper risk management and compliance structures. She was nominated for the Business Leader of the Year 2016 awards and was a finalist in the Rising Star 2018 awards, for the South African Chamber of Commerce in the UK.
